9 years in Bibb Co. public Schools; 10 years at Georgia State University; 19 years at Southern Tech (now Southern Polytechnic State University) AND, in 2016 Southern Poly. was folded into Kennesaw State University.

School Story:

In 1967-1968 I did a very poor job of teaching. I want to apologize to these students, and to thank these students for being patient with me.
I am thankful that I was able to teach 1967-1970 at Mark Smith and 1970-1976 at Appling B. THANKS for pleasant memories! I got to know some fine people at these schools. I enjoyed teaching at Georgia State University and Southern Tech, but those Mark Smith and Appling B students were real special!

i was a struggling geometry student in the 9th grade when i had you for a teacher. Thanks for the effort you made then. i went on to finish college and get two Master's degrees, one in computer science and the other in business administration. Your encouragement that year kept me going and while the subject matter was challenging, the love of understanding math never ended.
