Croma was our dear brother and the one of the most caring people I have ever known.   He passed away in October 2005 after battling cancer for 2 1/2 years.  The violin on the In Memory page of this site is so perform for him - he started playing the violin in elementary school.  I can remember when we were young; he would go out on our front porch to practice because everyone complained if he practiced where we could hear him.  Once he actually learned how to play, we loved hearing him play.  He became an accomplished violin player and also played the flute and piccolo.

Before Croma was diagnosed with cancer, he managed the Horsemanship Program at the Inner Harbor Campus in Douglasville, GA working with seriously emotionally disturbed children and youth.  He loved his job and the children loved him. He was happiest when helping others. He had several jobs working with mentally challenged children prior to this job. It was more important for him to have jobs helping others rather than high salary jobs.

I could go on and on about the wonderful, caring brother he was but I will just close by saying "Make every effort to spend as much time as you can with the ones you love and make sure they know how much you love them".  If they should pass away before you, you will not have any doubt they knew how much you loved them.  Although we all had to say good-bye to my brother early in life, we had no doubt that he knew how much he was loved and how much he would be missed.

We miss him being with us every day but we know he's doing great things in Heaven, and since my brother and I are pretty sure he was our Mother's favorite - we know she is happy to have him with her!
