Franklin Bartow Brown Jr.

December 3, 1949 – February 12, 2022

Franklin Bartow Brown, Jr., 72, passed away on February 12, 2022. A graveside service will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Sand Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Milan, GA. The family will greet friends on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, 746 Cherry Street. 

Mr. Brown was born in Macon to the late Franklin Bartow Brown, Sr. and Mildred Bobbie Brown. He was a veteran of The United States Army and retired from Midstate steel. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Mildred Anita Registro and Susan Eileen Brown. 

Survivors include his mother, Mildred Bobbie Brown; son, Franklin Bartow Brown, III; brother, Stuart Melvin Brown (Kathy); nephew, Anthony Ryles Hutto (Tracy); and former spouse and mother of his child, Deborah Lockaby Brown.
