WELLS - Tom Wells, age 63 of Snellville, passed away January 3, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Tuesday, January 7, 2014 with remains placed in state at 12:30 PM at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Gongwer and Rev. Larry Mize officiating. Interment will follow at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens. Mr. Wells was a retired chemist with the CDC. He was a very faithful and active member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and Sunday School Teacher, and he was a Heritage Award Winner. He was preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Brenda S. Wells, who passed away in 2010; his father, Jack Wells; grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. T.C. Wells and Mr. & Mrs. William R. Redding. He is survived by his daughters, Christie Wells and Nancy Wells, both of Snellville; mother, Myrtle Lou Wells of Macon; brother, Guerry Wells of Columbia, SC; several nieces and nephews.
