Forrest Thursley Gordon, III

Macon, GA- F. Thursley Gordon, III, 66, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2013 at his residence. Memorial services and a celebration of his life will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday at Snow's Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street with the Rev. Monty February officiating. The family will greet friends from 6 - 8 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home and also may be contacted at his residence.
 

Mr. Gordon was preceded in death earlier this year by his beloved wife of twenty-six years, Linda Liles Gordon. He was born in Milledgeville the son of the late Forrest Thursley Gordon, Jr. and Marie Leverett Gordon. Living in Macon most of his life, Mr. Gordon was a salesman with Joseph N. Neel for over 20 years where he made many friends whom he cherished his entire life. He was currently a salesman with Henderson Chemical Co. and was a member of Mulberry United Methodist Church. Mr. Gordon was an avid saltwater fisherman and was a Florida Gator Fan through and through.
 

A loving father , grandfather and great grandfather, he will be missed by those he loved most, his daughters and their husbands, Melissa K. and Chuck Harvell, Heather and Barry White, Amy G. and Billy Wells and Tracie G. and Jack Holt; his beloved grandchildren, Amber Owens, Dustin Harvell, Zachary White, Allison White and Katie Beth Wells and two great grandchildren.
