Mrs. Jonnie David Holbrook, 63, of Cartersville, passed away suddenly Thursday, May 16, 2012 at Coliseum Northside Hospital in Macon. Born in Floyd County on May 6, 1949, she was the daughter of the late John C. David and Mary A. Hulgan David.
“Aunt Jonnie” touched a lot of lives and was loved by all who knew her. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt and will be missed greatly.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Jimmy Holbrook of Cartersville; her children, Jennie Holbrook Southerland (Jay), John David Holbrook (Heather), Jamey Holbrook (Melissa); her grandchildren, Jake Southerland, Justin Southerland, Andrew Holbrook, Lauren Holbrook, Cameron Holbrook and Audrey Holbrook; her sisters, Barbara Ivey and e’Claire Cook; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
A celebration of her life will be held from 2 – 4 p.m., Sunday, May 20, 2012 at Spring Lake Events, 455 Government Farm Road, Rockmart, Georgia with Rev. Ken Oates officiating. This will be an outdoor service. Please wear picnic attire.
