IN MEMORIAM

Margie Reynolds (Grimsley) - Class Of 1967

Margie Reynolds (Grimsley)

Margie Grimsley, our beloved mother, Mema, and sister, joined her beloved husband, Jerry Edward Grimsley and son, Michael Edward Grimsley, in Heaven, on the evening of Tuesday, December 8, 2020. She was 71.

Born and raised in Macon, Georgia, Margie was the daughter of the late Margie and Leroy Franklin Reynolds, Jr. She graduated with honors from Lasseter High School in 1967 and earned a BA in Sociology from the University of West Georgia in Carrollton. Margie utilized her degree and pursued her dream of helping those in need as a social worker at Middle Georgia Community Action Agency. She was sure to create a memorable connection with each of the children and families she came in contact with over the years.

Margie loved her Lord and Savior and was a faithful and dedicated member of Sandy Valley Baptist Church. It was evident to everyone who knew her that she was a true disciple of Christ who loved serving the Lord by serving others. In her free time, Margie enjoyed spending time with her family, visiting Panama City Beach, baking, and listening to Gospel music at various opry houses near and far. She also loved dragonflies, so when you see one, smile in remembrance of Margie.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving daughter, Jennifer Lynn Spires (Larry) of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Ashley Lynn Lowery (Stevie), Haley Marie Snyder (Brock), and Crystal Ann Spires; sister, Mary Ann Chevalley (Jim) of Macon; and several adoring nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

Margie will be laid to rest next to Jerry with a graveside funeral service on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in Parkway Memorial Gardens.

For friends unable to attend at this time, the service will be streamed live via the McCullough Funeral Home Facebook page at www.facebook.com/mcculloughfuneralhome/live/.

McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory has the privilege of being entrusted with these arrangements.
