Other than John clark Kitchens, Danny "lurch" Gordon was one of my best friends. We used to play basketball at the old Bibb Mill Recreation Center before it finally fell down. We went everywhere and especially to see the Braves in Atlanta. I understand that he became a pastor and I got to see him shortly thereafter. Danny was a voice of reason and respect for everyone around him. His Parents and sister, Judy, were a good part of my life. The good ones don't seem to last.
