Mary Jean Wright, 65, died September 28, 2018. Mary spent her childhood in Atlanta and Macon, where she graduated from Lasseter High School. Mary subsequently graduated from Georgia Southwestern College. She worked as a paralegal, office manager, and teacher. Mary also devoted five years’ caregiving for her dear mother, Emma Jean Wright, and Mary became a strong advocate for Alzheimer’s research. In her last years, Mary attended East Cobb Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Emma Jean Wright. She is survived by her brothers John (Mark Burton) of Dallas, TX; Hal of Marietta; and Paul (Frankie) of Tucker and by many friends. Rest in peace, Mary Jean. A memorial service will be held at 11AM on Tuesday, October 2, at East Cobb Presbyterian Church. Memorial donations may be made to the American Alzheimer's Association or the charity of your choice.
