Ronald "Ronnie" K. Walker, Sr.

Macon, GA- Ronald "Ronnie" K. Walker, Sr., 66, passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2017. A Celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Dr. Brad Marchman officiating. The family will greet friends on Friday, May 19, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Ronnie was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Henry Lee and Irene Lord Walker. He was a member of West Highland Baptist Church and was retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad. Ronnie was the President of Shag Atlanta where he enjoyed dancing. 

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Ratner-Walker of Woodstock, children, Kim Walker McDaniel (Gary Bryant) of Macon, Karen Walker Garrett (Tony) of Macon, Keith Walker (Julie) of Macon, grandchildren, Jade and Paige McDaniel, Dallas Scott and Sydney Garrett, Ashton and Ryan Walker all of Macon, sister, Donna Walker Chatham (Jim) of Macon, and several cousins.
