Sylvia Ann Hobbs Hoover, 70, of Graham Road, passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at a local hospital. Services will be held at 10:00am, Friday, September 3, 2021, graveside at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with Rev. Craig Walden and Rev. Jimmy Corbitt officiating.

Mrs. Hoover was born November 02, 1950, in Macon to the late John Thomas Hobbs and Elizabeth Ann Stanley Hobbs. She was retired from SunTrust Bank and she enjoyed decorating. Mrs. Hoover loved her family and attending baseball tournaments to cheer on her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers. Mrs. Hoover is survived by her husband of thirty-eight years: Joey Hoover; children: April Avery and Paul Shedd; sisters: Carolyn Elaine Murphy, Kathy Hobbs and Cissy Flanagan (Rick); seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
