October 15, 1952 – January 28, 2022

Margot Brandenburg Jones, 69, of Bedford passed away Friday, January 28, 2022, at Westview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. 

She was born October 15, 1952, in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Sharon Roberts Hatcher and the late Donald Gene Brandenburg. Margot graduated from Lasseter High School in Macon, GA in 1970 and continued her studies at Georgia Southern University.

Margot’s artistic creativity and genuine persona led her to a career in photography. Margot quickly made a name for herself at Olan Mills, earning her the position of District Manager for the greater Atlanta region.

Margot is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law; Kelly E. and Brad D. Buice, of Heltonville; Lindsey P. and Tommy R. Dean Jr of Bloomington; her youngest brother Michael Brandenburg and wife Belinda Brandenburg of Arizona; and her four grandchildren Kaity E. Buice of Springville; Harper P. Dean, Tucker R. Dean, and Rudder R. Dean, of Bloomington.

No service, cremation was chosen. Cresthaven Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
