Annette S. Mate -JULIETTE - Annette S. Mate passed away at a Macon hospital on Friday, September 2, 2011. Born in Macon on February 12, 1949, she lived her whole life in Georgia. A memorial service will be held at Martha Bowman Memorial United Methodist Church on Bass Road, in Macon, on September 6, at 3:30 P.M. The Reverends Jay Harris and John Horton will officiate. Family visitation will be conducted after the service. -Mrs. Mate is survived by Brian Mate, her husband of 39 years; sons, Bradford J. (wife Beverly) of Stuttgart, Germany, Brandon J. (wife Kimberly) of Orlando, Florida; daughter Emily J. of Juliette; four grandchildren, Sophia, Bridget, Molly, and Braden Mate; father Hampton Stallworth of Juliette; and sister Jannis Nix (husband Ralph) of Macon. -Annette was a high school math teacher for 32 years in Fitzgerald, Macon, and Barnesville.
