Of all the deaths. this one hit me especially hard. Diane and I dated for about a year and I took her to the Junior senior prom in 67-68. She was something special and played a mean viola. I really loved her but, due to an angry moment, I broke up with her. Shortly afterward, I went to Japan for the Air Force. In retrospect, I guess I showed her (sarcasm). To my eternal regret, and because of my anger, I WON THE ONLY BATTLE I EVER LOST!!! Some things you just wish you could just "do over". I think of her at least twice a week and I guess I always will. God, I miss her!!! There is still a hole in my universe.
