Bio: - Profile of Life -
George Fordham was born June 18, 1951 in Macon, Georgia.  He was the fourth son of Sam and Mattie Mayo. He passed away Tuesday, January 2, 1996.  He received his early education in the Bibb county Public 
Schools. George was a 1970 graduate of Mark Smith High School.  He received his B.S. degree in Criminal Justice and his Master's degree in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling from Fort Valley State College in Fort Valley, Georgia. He served in the United States Air Force and often shared fond memories of his Tour of Duty in Laken Heath, England He was affectionately call "Sir George" by his comrades His life accomplishments include being a Police Officer for the Bibb County Board of Education. Counselor at the Central Correctional Institute in Macon. Georgia. At the time of his demise he was psychiatric counselor at Potomac Residence Club in Washington, D.C.

He leaves to mourn his passing a devoted wife Janice Reeves Fordham and two loving children. Kenneth and Qiara Fordham all of Riverdale, Maryland. Parents, Sam and Mattie Mayo Fordham of Macon. Georgia; Fathers- in-law. Collins Ragin and William Reeves II, Mother-in-law. Mrs. Wylene Ragin of Macon, Georgia. Brothers, James Fordham of Providence Rhode Island, Gregory Fordham of Macon, Georgia. Sisters, Barbara Young Heugnin of Northbrook,  Illinois, Sandra Felts of Decatur, Georgia, Ann Fordham of Macon,  Georgia, Pamela Fordham of Atlanta, Georgia, Felecia Fordham of  Lilburn, Georgia. Paternal grandmother, Essie Mae Fordham of Macon, Georgia Sisters-in-law, Sharon Fordham of Providence, Rhode Island. Elaine Bradley, Vickie Reeves, Sharon Pearson, and Keyna Taylor all of Macon, Georgia. Stacey Johnson of Warner, Robins, Georgia and Stephanie Johnson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Brothers-in-law Dan Heugnin of Northbrook, Illinois,  Gregory Reeves, William Reeves III, Kerry Reeves and Quentin  Goolsby all of Macon, Georgia., Rev. Roy Felts, Jr. of Decatur. Georgia, and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and other loving relatives and friends.
