  • Pam Stanley Yates (1967) was recognized as Teacher of the Year at both Springdale & Riley Elementary Schools, in addition to many other recognitions during her more than thirty-five years of teaching before her death in April 2012.
  • Cam Bonifay (1970) was inducted into the Macon Sports Hall of Fame in May 2012. He is also the youngest person ever to be inducted into the Georgia Tech Sports Hall of Fame in 1989. Cam is currently a Special Assistant to the General Manager of the Cincinnati Reds baseball team.
     
  • John McCord (1967) owns two successful restaurant & catering services: Satterfield's & The Fish N' Pig. You can see John's catering each year at our reunions!
  • Charlie Anderson (1970) was a 3-year letterman in basketball at the University of Georgia & Captain of the 1974 team.
  • Mickey Anderson (1967) is employed as an entomologist with the Food & Drug Adminstration in Atlanta, Georgia.
  • Jeannie Cagle Waters (1970) taught ESOL (English for speakers of other languages) in Houston County Public Schools before her retirement in 2015.
  • Gay Beasley Madden (1970) was chosen as "2001 Gwinnett County Counselor of the Year" before her retirement in 2011.
  • John Porter (1968) was an instructor of English at Shizuoka University in Japan & co-wrote the book, "The Traditional Annual Events In Japan," before his death in 1994.
  • Diane Wood Stern (1969) was presented the Algernon Sydney Sullivan Society Award, chosen by the faculty at Mercer University, for being the top female graduate of the Class of 1973.
  • Lin Wood (1970) is a high profile attorney based in Atlanta, Georgia & is one of the top libel, defamation and First Amendment lawyers in the U.S. His many famous clients include: Richard Jewell, John & Patsy Ramsey, Gary Condit, Herman Cain & most recently, Beth Holloway, mother of Natalie Holloway.
     
  • Ceil Baker Humphreys (1969) owns a school, Humphreys Junior High, for homeschool students grades 5-8.
  • Pam Kelly (1967) was a former investment banker who became a veterinarian in 1994 & nows owns a mobile vet clinic in Macon.
  • Jimmy Higgins (1970) was the top graduate of the Law Enforcement Training Center of Central Georgia in 1977. He was cited for heroism and bravery in 1983 after he rescued an elderly invalid from her burning home. Jimmy was also named "Officer of the Year" by the Macon Exchange Club & "Outstanding Young Law Officer" by the Macon JayCees before his death in 1993.
  • Dorinda Gilmore Dallmeyer (1970) was formerly the Associate Director of the Dean Rusk Center School of Law at the University of Georgia. She is currently the Director of the Environmental Ethics Certificate Program & has written & edited books on everything from feminist international law to an anthology of Southern nature writing. In addition to her many studies, Dorinda was also a majorette with the UGA Redcoat Marching Band during her undergraduate years!
  • Jan Jackson Lovelady (1970) & Julie Hofstetter Henderson (1969) have both spent their careers in the sky as airline flight attendents!
  • Donna Reeves Washburn (1970) started the first choral program at Mount De Sales Academy in Macon in 1987 & taught the 2015 Miss America, Betty Cantrell.
  • Danny "Bubba" Sloan (1969) founded High Country Outfitters in 1975 along with three other friends when they realized the need for a full service specialty outdoor retailer in Atlanta. High Country is a place where you can gear up for your next great adventure or learn to paddle, climb, and travel through the backcountry.
  • Teresa Adams (1967) was the first graduate of Mark Smith & Lasseter High Schools. Linda Yawn Lee (1970) was the last graduate!
